You can move clips that you uploaded. Owners and admins can move any clip. Archiving a clip means moving it to Archive.

Move a clip

Open the clip

Open the clip that you want to move.

Open More actions

Select More actions, the three dots next to the star.

Open the workspace list

Select Move to….The submenu lists every workspace, including Archive. A check marks the current workspace.

Choose the destination

Select the destination workspace.

Expected result

Tellclip shows Clip moved with the workspace name. The destination workspace shows the clip.

Archive a clip

In the More actions menu, select Move to…. Then select Archive. The archived clip leaves the library lists and the sidebar workspace pages. To show archived clips, select Archive under Library in the sidebar. To restore a clip, open it from Archive. Then move it to another workspace.

Common errors

Move to… is missing

You did not upload the clip. Ask the uploader, an owner, or an admin to move it.

Tellclip shows Could not move clip

Read the message. Then try again.
