If an edit or screenshot does not produce the expected result, use these steps.

A screenshot shortcut opens macOS

Open Tellclip Settings. Select Shortcuts. Under Mac screenshot keys, select Set as Default. If automatic setup fails, open System Settings. Turn off the macOS shortcuts under Keyboard Shortcuts… and Screenshots.

A screenshot fails

1

Make sure that permission is on

Make sure that Tellclip has Screen Recording access.
2

Make sure that the source is available

If a selected screen is missing, reconnect it or select a different screen.
3

Make sure that storage is available

If the disk is full, free space and capture the screenshot again.
If Tellclip reports that preparation failed but copied the image, paste the clipboard image before another capture replaces it.

A screenshot file is missing

Open Recent Screenshots… from the Tellclip menu. Then save a new copy from the history entry. History must be on before capture. Tellclip keeps enabled history entries for 30 days, subject to its 2 GB budget.

An edit was not saved

Reopen the recording or screenshot. Then make the edit again and use its explicit save or update action. For a shared clip, select Update Clip after local edits. Your link stays the same.
