Member roles

Tellclip has three organization roles: owner, admin, and member.

An owner or admin can change the role of another member on Members. You cannot change your own role there. Admins cannot assign or remove the owner role. To transfer ownership, contact support.

Change a role

Open Settings

Select Settings at the bottom of the sidebar.

Open Members

Select Members.

Find the member

Use Search by name or email.

Choose the role

Select Member or Admin in the member row.

Expected result

Tellclip shows the new role in the member row. The new permissions apply to later actions.

Common errors

You cannot select a role

Your role does not permit the change.
