Changelog

An editor agent and layouts

Ask Claude or Codex to edit your recording, switch between camera, split screen and screen only, and work in a calmer editor.

Edit with an agent#

Tell Claude or Codex what to change, and it cuts, zooms, blurs and restyles the recording you're editing. It runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.

WhereEditor → Agent tab

Camera and screen layouts#

Show just your camera, a split screen or just the screen for any part of a recording, with smooth transitions in between.

WhereEditor timeline → Layout

A calmer editor#

The editor now wears your Mac's own colors, with the preview and the inspector in two rounded panels and the timeline tools in one row.

Record more, a teleprompter and blur

Add a take to a recording you're editing, read a script while you record, and hide what shouldn't be seen.

Record more#

Forgot a sentence? Record another take straight into the recording you're editing, and move it where it belongs.

WhereEditor top bar → Record more ⌘R

Teleprompter#

Paste a script and read it while you record, scrolling at your pace. It never shows up in the recording.

Where⋯ beside Record → Teleprompter

Blur part of the screen#

Hide an email, a key or a customer name for exactly the seconds it's on screen. The blur follows zooms and stays put through cuts and speed changes.

Scrolling screenshots, cuts and pinned comments

Capture a whole scrolling page, cut a recording right where you point, and pin comments to the exact spot on the frame.

Scrolling screenshots#

You can now capture a page taller than your screen: select an area, then scroll it or press Auto-scroll. Tellclip stitches one tall screenshot, with sticky headers and sidebars shown only once.

WhereMenu bar → Capture Scrolling Area. Set a shortcut in Settings → Shortcuts.

Cut where you point#

With the Cut tool on, the playhead follows your pointer and the preview shows that exact frame. Click to cut there, and click a cut's scissors marker to take it back out.

WhereEditor timeline → Cut C. Esc leaves the tool; S still cuts at the playhead.

Comments on the frame#

Right-click the clip, choose Comment here, and your pin stays on that spot of the frame at that moment. Choose the comment in the sidebar and the player jumps back to it.
